Go BC ! ;)

Don’t look at me – I didn’t even pick Duke to get past the second round. I’m in last place in every pool I’m in. I will only go so far as Memphis goes – and I HATE Calipari to boot. This is not good.

Oh, and the company I work for is being sold! What a week.

lderochi - you didn’t pick Duke to get past the second round??? Pretty savvy on your part!!! I just naturally always pick them because…well…they’re Duke, same way I pick NC and UCLA and…

DH went to Florida, so as far as I’m concerned, last year’s championship was a fluke…plus they owe the Bruins big time anyway for escorting them to the BCS championship game…

Being sold isn’t the worst thing…as long as you’re one of the key people who gets to stay! I’d be jumping up and down right now if we were sold, since it would mean that someone thinks our stuff actually works!

lderochi…sorry to hear about your company getting bought out! can’t believe you called Duke’s loss to VCU. Virginia basketball seems to be a “statewide” fever sort of thing this year…winning appears to be “catching” in the Old Dominion.

Duke is very young and VCU is for real. VCU is in my conference so I’ve seen em a few times. I called this one =P. I have VCU going down to Pitt next round.

I also picked GW though, they lost by 30. oops… hahaha.

1sokkermom~I’m with you on BC!!! Would be soooooooooo sweet to beat Gtown on Saturday!!!

I missed the winners of several of today’s games but all my second-round picks are still alive except for Stanford. Didn’t expect Duck to lose.

I think the Ducks are a hockey team, but i’m not sure…

No, I saw them lose yesterday: Duck lost to Virginia Commonwealth in what was probably the most entertaining of the games that I saw.

Maybee missspeling is a Left Coast thing? I em pretty sure the Annahimey Duxs are a Left coast hockie teem?? :)

P.S. The more traditional misspelling of the team that played VCU would be Dook. ;)

Oh well, my AM’s out once again. But they do keep appearing, which is good in itself. Trouble is, they come from a conference that, like Rodney D., gets no respect, so they usually get a pretty low seed, so they wind up facing a pretty high one.

Good day in my house yesterday: G-town won for DS, BC won for YD and VCU won for me!! Now if VT wins tonight, I’m all set, until Saturday when BC meets G-town. H and I are sure glad both kids are at school. They won’t be able to see who we are cheering for!

Hey, 1S…I have a hard time spelling Southern…some folks back from y’alls way pronounce “Duke” with two or even three syllables…I’m just trying to simplify.

In that Dook loss, didn’t that Maynor (was it Maynard?) guy remind you of a young Gary Payton?

I’m the only one I know that has Virginia and Virginia Tech in the finals with Virginia winning.

After the first round, I picked by name or color. My D has UNC winning, and H has Ohio State winning.

I just heard that businesses nationwide lose about $1.5 billion in lost productivity because of this nonsense. How the heck do they measure that?

Oh please don’t let UNC win. ABC (Anybody But Carolina)

Guess I’ll have to take back the nice things I said about State, since some people never seem to reciprocate. ;)

zzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzz

I hate March Madness…blech

Sorry Idmom, nothing personal, lol. It’s just when you live your whole life in NC you are either a State fan or a Carolina fan but never both. There is no in between. Not only does S attend State but H is a State grad. too. I’ve learned to not buy light blue clothes because nobody here will wear them lest theybe mistaken for a Tarheel fan. It’s that bad! LOL.

Packmom - Guess it’s kinda like the Aggie-Longhorn thing here in Texas…lol! But what are ya gonna do about the Carolina Blue CC Winky Face…lol! It has to pain you everytime… ;)
