March SAT & College

So I took the SAT for the first time in March and got a 1850; I’m utterly devastated. I’m looking at colleges like Cornell, Stanford, Johns Hopkins, etc. and feel as if I’ve absolutely blown my chances out of the water. I know that admission offices look at the big picture rather than just test scores, but I can’t help but feel bad about my score. I thought I’d studied really hard for this test. I took 2 practice tests, used the Blue book, studied vocab. I just don’t understand how all of my diligent preparation translated into an 1850 (by the way, that’s 520CR, 680M, 650W). I’m taking the SAT IIs in Physics, US History, and Math 2 in June and now I’m terrified that I won’t do well on them. What should I do to study better? I just feel really bad about my performance and need some reassurance. Any advice is greatly appreciated!
