Hi I am a high school student I am going to college soon ,I am interested in marketing and I would like to know what are some things that I should do in college such as clubs I should join ,should I join student government ,if there is a specific class i should make sure I take,basically tips for my personal agenda in order to make the most out of my marketing bachelor .
I was a marketing major and I highly recommend Pi Sigma Epsilon, a professional marketing fraternity. Pi Sig is a far from a line on resume. Sure we had local business leaders speak at our meetings but most were truly interested in investing in students. Several of my friends got jobs from networking with these leaders. Far more important, we worked on many projects that provided hands on experience. We were paid to conduct marketing research for a local business, we held a charity concert that raised $75,000 (25 years ago), and many small projects. Oh yeah, we had regular parties and the national convention was.a hoot. If you get involved in leadership, you will present at convention before a panel of executives from Fortune 500 companies including questions from your written proposal and presentation. Invaluable experience before interviewing as a senior looking for a job.
