Marshall Joint Programs

<p>How does one apply for these programs? Were people already accepted to the programs? I was accepted to CLAS as an undecided major, but I’m wondering if it’s possible for me to transfer to Marshall, specifically for the B.A./East Asian Studies Joint Degree. If I don’t get in/can’t get in, I’ll probably stay at CLAS for East Asian Studies, but how do I even apply for the Joint Degree? The website says: “This program is open to both entering freshmen and continuing students. Interested students should contact Marshall’s Office of Undergraduate Admissions.” I think I read elsewhere that you must be an honors student or something like that. I wasn’t accepted (or applied to, if it required such) to the TO/Honors stuff, but I am a Dean’s Scholar.</p>

<p>If you want to do business, then transfer. The joint programs are not that different than a major/minor sequence. So even if they told you no for the joint program (which I think is highly unlikely) you could always do an minor in East Asian studies.</p>
