<p>posted this in the housing thread but since nobody replied, i’m gonna make a separate thread
so I got assigned to mary lyndon hall, i know nothing about it and from the little info that I read on UGA’s site, it doesn’t sound too great, anybody have any information on how it is for a freshman to live there, should I try for housing reassignment?</p>
<p>I heard its mainly for foreign language majors-spanish and fench. you can onl communicate in those languages here- at least thats what my french teacher told me</p>
<p>I think Mary Lyndon does house the foreign language programs. However, it also has a very convenient location as it is probably the closest dorm to Snelling Dining hall and is located on Myers Quad. It’s due for renovation at some point, but I’m not sure when. I knew a few people who lived in there and they seemed to like it. There are worse halls than Mary Lyndon, so I’d recommend you stay.</p>
