<p>@SteveMA: I’ve also read speculation that UNC & Kansas are possibilities, but I’m sceptical. Not sure which school will be tapped to be #15, but I’ll bet that it will designed to leave Notre Dame with only one reasonable course of action.</p>

<p>If the goal is to get access to large east coast media markets, BC might make more sense than UNC.</p>

<p>Agree that Boston College is an interesting choice. The question, in my opinion, however, is which course of action will place more pressure on Notre Dame to come home to Mama ? Weakening the ACC or strengthening the Big Ten TV market ? Maybe we’ll end up in a situation where conferences trade teams like pro teams trade players.</p>

<p>Next move for the Big Ten should be to increase the required number of conference football games to 9 or 10 from the current 8.</p>
