<p>I plan to study computer engineering and would like the best opportunities out of college. I currently live in Northern VA so Mason is going to be much cheaper than MUOHIO. Is it worth it to pay the extra 10 - 20 Thousand to attend Miami?</p>
<p>I guess the question is where are you planning to live after college? If you are going to stay in VA, I would have to assume that Mason’s alumni network would be stronger and could positively influence job opportunities etc. If you are planning to go to further West, I believe Miami would definitely be more recognized.</p>
<p>Would you be borrowing the difference, or would your parents pay? How important is it to you to have a traditional “college experience”?</p>
<p>after college i hope to get a job in the government doing some type of IT or Computer engineering work for them. My parents would help pay most of the difference leaving about 10,000 in loans. I would most likely live on campus at Mason so hopefully I would still retain some of the College experience. At this point I am leaning towards Mason because of the potential job Opportunities that could arise due to its location.</p>
<p>$10,000 in loans per year? I don’t think I’d borrow $40,000 to go to MU, especially since it seems like you’re not madly in love with the school.</p>
