Going into the test, I felt really unprepared even though I searched online for any tips that could help on the test. I just took it today and felt like I should tell people what it was like so in future some will be more prepared than I was. First, there is no science part!! It is purely algebra, geometry, and humanities (writing and grammar). Overall the math was very challenging, and most of it was not anything I’ve ever done in school before. A lot of the other applicants felt the same way. Good news is that if you know algebra 2 and have taken geometry, you’ll have a better chance at doing well.
I also gave the diagnostic test the same day and found the math very hard. English was good but I could not do half of the math problems :(. I called them before and they said that this was something I should know…Concerned about my admission chances now.
