Massive Grade Inflation

More than half of my class has a WGPA of or more than 90%. Well, mostly every single class from my school has this problem. Since there is no class rank and my GC assured me that the school does not report any indication of class rank, other than 25% of the class has a 93% or better WGPA, because of NHS, I am not really sure how much value my WGPA (96%) does have.

How much value does my WGPA have? Would it matter if I am applying to schools that almost no other student from my school has ever applied to? If my WGPA doesn’t have much value, does it mean that I have to work harder to get a better SAT score, better achievement in ECs, and might have to take and ace college classes?

You’ve hit gold. Congrats.

bump bump…

bump…

Working toward a better SAT score is a good idea.

For my class during the 2010-2011 school year, it’s more like 60% of the students get a 90% overall or better.
