Master Promissory Note Issue

So I’m in the process of filling out all my financial aid forms, but I’ve ran into a rather annoying problem.

In filling out my Master Promissory Note for student loans, it requires a driver’s license. I don’t have a license or a state ID and I’m unable to skip that field for the Note, so what can I do? I probably won’t have a license for quite a bit longer and I would like to already have this finished.

Am I able to use someone else’s driver’s license and then just update the license number later when I have my own? Or am I just out of luck until I have my own license? It’s vital that I get this loans confirmed, but I just am not sure how to go about it.

If you do not have a driver’s license you are able to leave the section blank and it shouldn’t hold you up from finishing. Please contact Direct Loan Applicant Services at 1-800-557-7394, as they will be able to assist you further if it is a technical issue with the site. Do not use someone else’s driver’s license

I strongly suggest you see if you can get a non-driver’s photo ID from your state motor vehicle dept. You’ll be needing it for all kind of purposes going forward.
