Anyone know how to do the Sousaphone problem where you have to find the Tension of the string?

There is the first problem - it is not the Sousaphone you must calculate, but the worfaphone.

Seriously.

First calculate the frequency of the pipe.

Second, set up the equation for the frequency of the string based on its parameters, setting its third harmonic to the output frequency of the pipe. Determine the needed tension.

Everything you need is there, just sort out the right formula to use for each based on one or both ends of the pipe open, one or both ends of the string secured, third harmonic of string vs fundamental of the pipe.
