<p>I am wondering what I should do as far as my career… I guess I am in some sort of midlife thing… 28 years old… trying to figure out what I want to do …and it is not IT… </p>
<p>I either want to do a masters in econ… or a mpa focusing on non profits… </p>
<p>What is the payscales for careers in these fields? How stressful are the jobs? On one hand if I did a masters… I suppose I could always teach, or even go on to a doctorate somewhere… MPA … I am not real sure about and not even sure if it would be worth it as it looks like I already make more 50k+ a year than what it seems starting salary in mpa gets… or is this bad data? </p>

<p>I would be looking to do a masters in econ at university of san francisco…as it is one I can probably get in…then possibly doing a doctorate at berkelely…(though this might be hard and not sure having a masters in econ w/ work experience will help me get in as my undergrad wasn’t great, but my last 2 years was a 4.0.) a 2.4 my freshman/sophomore… ouch!</p>
<p>I definitely want to stay in the Greater SF Bay area and do not want to leave it for furthering education, I would just assume stay.</p>
<p>Was also thinking masters in econ with a computer background might be a nice resume. I only recently realized I could probably get into a less prestigious econ program for a masters</p>
