Master's Teas: who'd be your pick?

You went to that beth!?!? I’m so jealous! I wanted to go, but I had a bio lab to do. How was she? What did she say?

It was alot of fun. She’s a cute little old lady. Alot of people were shocked at her frankness, but I guess in her career, that’s nothing new. She spent alot of time talking about her beginnings, from her radio show to her quest to spread “open sexual discussion” to the world. She also took a bunch of questions from the audience, which were mostly about (surprise!) teenage relationships.

It’s too bad that you missed it:(

definitely Conan O’Brien…

Haha that’d be fun. Though he’s a Crimson, isn’t he?

yeah, but we make exceptions cuz he’s Conan :)

Haha, that’s mighty big of us :D

id def agree with obama. orrrrr the man, john kerry, too bad he lost. ummm bill clinton would be sweet, as would tom hanks, or conan, or anyone cool basically!

Ooh Jarahul, I was thinking Tom Hanks (although The Terminal really let me down). And JOHN KERRY would be AMAZINGGGG!

Great topic idea! Off the top of my head…

Writers: Chuck Palahniuk, David Sedaris, Chuck Klosterman, the guy who wrote Friday Night Lights
Film: Quentin Tarantino, Ed Norton (I think he’s done one though), Richard Linklater
Music: Conor Oberst, Thom Yorke, Tom Morello, Eminem.
Others - Sue Johansen (that old lady who has a sex show on TV), Steve Jobs (Apple computer CEO).

Anyone know how receptive celebs usually are to masters tea invitations?

jk rowling

lou dobbs is an excellent person for masters teas…i met him at a luncheon thingie sponsored by the philly world affairs council (in which i hold a leadership position) and he was totally awesome, although i ****ed him off and he flipped at me (but i did that on purpose - i asked, “could some outsourcing be acceptable as we move from a manufacturing economy to a service-industry one?”)…also, he busted on just about every1 in politics; he would be great for masters teas…

I think Jon Stewart would have an amazing master’s tea.

jon stewart— excellent.

oh, good pick.

id say Alan Moore also, for those of u familiar with Watchmen and the like. Too bad he’s a recluse, he’d be awesome.

ohhhh and al sharpton, that would be awesome. like him or not, youve gotta admit that itd be interesting to say the least

From Crossfire <a href=“CNN.com - Transcripts”>CNN.com - Transcripts;

Tucker Carlson: What’s it like to have dinner with you? It must be excruciating. Do you like lecture people like this or do you come over to their house and sit and lecture them; they’re not doing the right thing, that they’re missing their opportunities, evading their responsibilities?

Jon Stewart: If I think they are.

Tucker Carlson: I wouldn’t want to eat with you, man. That’s horrible.

Just though it was relevant :-P. I’d love to see a Jon Stewart master’s tea.

Haha I saw that clip. John Stewart would be an awesome master’s tea!

yeah hes the man
