Any list of great colleges for premeds would be incomplete without XULA. XULA (which stands for Xavier University of Louisiana, not to be confused with the Xavier University in Ohio) is a Catholic HBCU in New Orleans. Just an outstanding place to be a premed: p.s. if you are wondering about the little white guy in the middle of that pic, it is Dr. J.W. Carmichael, who died this past fall. A real character, if even half of the stories told about him are true . But mostly a life exceptionally well lived.
