I’m a rising senior and I’m trying to start a college list. However, before I can do that I need some clarification on what some ‘match’ schools would be for me.
here are my stats:
act 34, 36 ss
gpa 4.0 uw
hooks: none
ecs: quizbowl team 9 years, violin 13 years, piano 11 years, state youth orchestra 9 years, string quartet 4 years
other: nsliy scholarship 2016, quizbowl state champ last year, member of state all star quizbowl team for national all star tournament, all state symphony 3 years, won a Chinese speech competition at state flagship, concertmaster of school orchestra 7 years, I guess I will be nmsf based on my psat score
work/volunteering: fast food job this past year, sixty hours at a hospital
ap scores: eight 5s, one 4
I know which schools are obviously reaches, but I’m not sure about matches. For instance, would oos admission to William and Mary be a match or a reach? If you could just reply with some names of colleges (regardless of location/cost) so I can get a general idea, that’d be great. I can do the narrowing down based on my likes/dislikes later. Thanks!
