Hi everyone- I was wondering, what is the difficult of Math 118? I’m taking it this summer and I was wondering if it was do-able. Math is really not one of my strong points. Actually, I’m good at it, but I have no intention of pursuing a math-related major (Chem, Physics, etc.). I want to go into the social sciences- maybe psychology or economics or something. Thus, I’d rather take 118 this summer as opposed to 120, but will this be looked badly on? By the way, I’m a junior at Math 118 will be the third class I’ll have taken at Yale. The other 2 (and the one that I’m taking in fall 09) are courses which relate to the major that I want to study. I figured that taking a Math course would just even it out. Thoughts?
