Anybody have a textbook for Math 1A that I can borrow for the upcoming fall semester?

Anybody???

Dude even I need a textbook… I found some downloadable versions online, but the isbn number doesnt match
Textbooks are wayyy too expensive!

Honestly, you are asking on the wrong place. We don’t know you. To us, you’re a complete stranger. Would you lend a $40+ textbook to a stranger?

That being said, used versions of textbooks can be really cheap.

Why wouldn’t you lend it if you’re not going to use it? And plus what would I do with a used math textbook other than to use it and to give it back? Being a stranger or not shouldn’t make a big difference because really you guys would be giving away a used old book which you are not going to be using anyway. This is what this forum is for dude. To ask questions so that others may help you…

Most people go on the forums to stay anonymous and to get their questions answered, not to hand out favors. Most of the people on forums like the confidential aspect of it, and wouldn’t want to meet up with you in real life if we don’t even know you. We have no incentive to help you out, why should someone take time out of their schedule to give you their $40 textbook before they even know you?

The forums is not a good place to ask for handouts. We don’t know you, we most likely don’t want to meet you. It may sound harsh, but we don’t come onto these forums to look for friends to make in real life.

If you’re looking for someone to lend you a textbook, ask some friends. If you’re a freshman and don’t know anybody, go randomly ask on FB; at least at that point, we know something about you other than the fact your username is saywhatsaykobe.

Even if the textbook is old and the person isn’t going to use it, they paid $40+ for it and would want something back…Like I have one but am only willing to sell it (unless it is someone I’m suuuper close to)…which is why I couldn’t get rid of it last sem. Check around for cheap used copies - you’re bound to find some eventually.

Aight. I gotchu guys. I was just hoping that there would be some guy who had a useless textbook lying around which they could lend because they don’t have anything else to do with it but oh well… I’ll get it from somewhere… It’s cool… ;)

dude just go find a used one on Amazon. It’s a lot cheaper than other stores.
