Math 2 or 1

Sry for another question im just really curious about policies of Cornell.

Math is my weakest class i haven’t gotten an A in it since Freshman year, and this week is the Math 2…im worried

I think i could be more confident by taking the Math 1 since its easier stuff

if i take a Math 1 and get a better score than i would in Math 2 does it make a difference?

does Math 2 hold more weight than Math 1?

im thinking of apping to CAS or CALS btw

Thanks!

I’m not very sure how it works within the Admission Committee

BUT

My teachers and counselor have said that the strategy is always go for the more difficult things, especially when they’re within your capability.

Math II is considerably harder than Math I (I think so). But it’s nothing you can’t study or practice for. I personally feel that a 700 on Math II is way better than 800 on Math I. It’s like, getting a 3.5 in a very challenging curriculum is better than a 4.0 in an easy curriculum.

The curve on Math I is very difficult. The curve on Math II is much more generous. If you have covered the material that is on the Math II test, it would be a better test to take.

Just take the Math II, the difficulty of the questions is laughable.
