<p>Are the finals departmental, or written by each individual teacher?</p>
<p>I think they’re probably written by the professor. At least, my professor mentioned that he might give us an easier final, since we had a difficult midterm. If the decision is in his hands, maybe each professor wields that power. :)</p>
<p>They’re departmental only if you’re on track (ie: Fall–Math 20A/10A, Winter–Math 20B/10B, etc)</p>
<p>I’d assume yours is written by the professor.</p>
