Math 53/Math 54. How Tough are They?

<p>I am considering between Math 53/54 for the Fall Semester of my Freshmen year. Since they are Prereq for my major (53 for Econ, 54 for Physics), I will have to take them eventually. But is it too early to tackle them? </p>

<p>Mainly, what was your experience with these 2 courses? (Also, who was your prof, since it does make a difference). If possible, do you know how was the grade distribution the year you took it.</p>

<p>Side Note: I have taken Calculus for the past 2 years (AP AB-then BC. Blech.) and I am currently taking a HS equivalent of Math 53/54 (and not doing too well). But hopefully it will be better the second time around (and hopefully with professors that actually understand it)</p>
