I’ve considered the possibility of getting a law degree, but am not totaly sold on the idea. Now, I am heavily considering a degree in mathmatics, because it seems less limiting. Also, I heard that math majors generally do well on the LSAT. Is this true, and would math be a viable option?

There is no reason why a math major couldn’t or shouldn’t go to law school. I would make sure to take some classes that emphasize reading comprehension and writing in addition to classes in your major to prepare yourself for law school and the practice of law.

math majors could do very well on the lsat cuz the lsat is a test of logical reasoning ability.

theres no rule that says u cant go to law school from a math major, but some of the other majors focus on skills that are useful in college (writing, etc.)

They’ll let people into law schools with every major imaginable. I know engineering, math, theatre, English, French, econ, poli sci, bio chem, chem, international relations, physical education, social studies, and history majors who are in law school. That’s off the top of my head.

nursing and medical school as well.
