Math and Science Universities

What are the top universities for science, math and medicine?

And also- if I lived in the US till I was 10 and from age 10-15 I live in Israel- am I considered as an International applicant or American? (I have both American and Israeli citizenships)

With an American citizenship you are considered an American applicant no matter where in the world you have been living.

There are a lot of good u’s with excellent math and science programs.
The first choice for hardcore math and science would probably be Caltech.

The vast majority of universities consider US citizens as domestic pplicants. However, for some universities (eg Duke), you may be considered international since they base it on geography not citizenship.

If you look at the top 25-50 universities, most of those will give you rich opportunities for the study of science, math, and pre-medicine. In terms of science and math, those below have the premier reputations, in terms of raw strength of faculty resources esp. in terms of research strength (apart from the question of their accessibility or ability to actually teach):

(In alphabetical order):

Berkeley
Caltech
Harvard
MIT
Princeton
Stanford

But this list is NOT exhaustive at all for your purposes. (I assume you are going to study as an undergraduate.) If you are going to be a graduate student and are also thinking about med school, top schools:

Harvard
Johns Hopkins
University of Pennsylvania
San Francisco (University of California, San Francisco)
Washington University

Again, NOT exhaustive.

Even Duke would consider her a domestic applicant.

Rice and Harvey Mudd have good reputations for science/math/engineering.
