Math at georgia tech?

If my career plans would be being a math professor would i not want to go to georgia tech for undergrad since it doesn’t have a pure math for a bachelors degree?

You can be a math professor and work in applied math or discrete math. Looking at the two degree programs, I think that the applied math degree puts you in a position to be prepared for most math graduate programs. I’m less sure about the discrete math degree.

I’d e-mail or call the department and ask what percentage of graduates go to graduate school and in what fields (it might not all be math). I’d also ask what graduate schools they go to.
