Math course for premed question

So I think I am the only Asian to hates math (and that is an understatement).

High school : Algebra 1- C, Algebra 2- D+, Geometry- B+ (I didn’t actually do any math for this class, just common sense), Precal- D
You got the point.

So I took a business calculus math class my first semester at Virginia Tech and for some devine intervention and my best friend who helped me every night, I got an A.
Here is the course description:

Calculus with Matrices: 1525: Modeling, linear, quadratic, exponential and logarithmic functions, limits, derivatives.

The question is: Is that enough to get me out of 1 semester of Calculus for Premed? I will do one semester of Stats. If it doesn’t then I am screwed, because of class duplication, I will not be able to take Cal1 but go straight to Cal 2, which will GUARANTEE me a big fat F since the math i’m currently taking is wayyy easier than Cal 1

thank you for your inputs

Here are the [catalog descriptions](Undergraduate Catalog-- Mathematics Course Descriptions). You may want to ask a pre-med advisor about it, since the courses are specific to you school.

is it from the math department?

You mean my math class? Yes, it’s from Math department, the math is for Business major but no where on the title or description that says Business math

It may very well, but I’d consult your pre-med committee.

Contact Med. Schools adcoms. My D. did primarily in regard to Math and English credits. Different Med. Schools requirments might be different.

Ok thank you. I emailed my Premed advisor, she criticized my email (content) twice without answering my question.

^
having a a great pre-med advisor, my D. still contacted several adcoms of med. schools on her list directly by herself. maybe your pre-med advisor feels that you should do the same, that is why she did not answer you. Just a guess.
