<p>You will need to have both Calc 1 and stats for med school admissions. </p>
<p>As for which will be more helpful in college—that will depend on what your major will be. </p>
<p>If you plan to major in a physical science (chem, biochem, physics, astronomy), engineering, computer science, mathematics or econ–take calc. </p>
<p>Stats will be more useful for social sciences (psych, soc, anthro, history) or public health.</p>
