<p>Make sure you thoroughly understand those topics. After that, practice practice practice, and always be sure to look over solutions to problems you got wrong. It can also help to look over solutions to problems you got correct, in case there is a faster, more elegant solution.</p>
<p>@MITer94 thanks for the advice. I understand Probabiliity but Quadratic Function is the thing that is creating the problem for me. </p>
<p>It’s just a polynomial of degree 2…however factoring quadratics (that can be factored over integers) and completing the square do take practice to get familiar with. There is a lot of information on quadratics on Wikipedia, Khan Academy, etc.</p>
