Incoming CSE freshman here. I took math20c in high school (multivar calc) but I’ve forgotten…a lot…so I was originally planning on retaking it. My degree audit tells me that I only need math20f and statistics, both of which do not require multivar knowledge. Would there be any point in retaking math20c and going beyond (linear algebra, discrete math) when my degree does not require it (other than for my own understanding)? Or did I completely misinterpret my degree audit?

No point to retaking 20C, imo. You’re not gonna relate the material to anything in discrete, stats or 20F (linear algebra). Go directly into 20F (no good teachers for discrete or stats) which will actually be somewhat useful of a class. You don’t use 20C in CS (undergrad anyway).
