new fish - 40/3. i believe this is the one about the ratio of the triangles’ areas in which they shared a common base and the ratio of the heights’ distance from the x-axis was 2/3

so far i got wrong:
prime 5
money 3:50
P one: 40 something
f(ab)= 24

all of those are right correct??

Yea see it said 2p<x<3p

So you picked 42, which leaves p to be 19.33333%

So 2(19.3333) = 38.667
and 3(19.333) = 58

So it satisfies 38.667<42<58

And the graph had 3ps in it and an x. And the 58+42 make 100%

sorry but i’m drawing a blank here, what was the passage about involving the “angry old lady”

^great! thanks guys!

yeah i got 40/3 and it was that one.
it was two triangles with a 3/4 ratio of area and they were on a line and one point was 10 away from the line… had to find the corresponding point of the other triangle’s distance to the same line.
I am so glad that i am getting all these answers ppl got. Makes me hopeful! haha

also 12 members in the club, 160 mins to get the water pumped from A to B? or maybe 120. i can’t remember.

@Dagol:

f(4) = 12 = f(2x2) = 12
So f(2) = 6
f(16) = f(2x2x2x2) = 6 x 4 =24

Minutes was 160

I still think the prime one was 3. My calculator said 3 works…

jw, but when are we allowed to? never?

prime was 5

160 is right as well

but i guess we can’t talk abou them anymore :(

Yeah 12 in the the club. and 140 minutes for the water pump. I vaguely remember 40/3. i think its right.

I just confirmed that the answer to the prime divisor question was 9 on my comp’s calculator. I wasn’t completely sure because the graphing calc has a limited number of dec. places, but it is not divisible by 3 (and it obviously is divisible by 5). The number is 2446731546875.

the icecream and soda one was 2.50 i think and ugh i got the pie chart one but I had it in degrees not as a percentage :[

what was lowest prime divisor? i said 5 and i switched my answer 4 times!

^ What problem is that, I don’t remember it at all

what aboutt the one with the math and science classs? cant remember the numbers
i thinkkk i got 12 in the club, definitelyyyyy 160 minutes for the pump

was 210 the answer to the u+v+w?

yes 210 was what I got.

prime divisor HAS to be 25 because it was a product of 11s, 5s, and 7s. 1 , 11, 5, 5, 7 but one is not prime and was not even an answer choice. it’s five (5)

for ^ question,would 50 work as well??
