Math for March SAT 2009

Less than 3. 4 would be pushing it. 5 would mean a lot of dumbasses took the test.

90 ring a bell? (It’s the answer.)

I don’t understand how to quote people, or see how you can quote.

But I would also would to find out how many one can get wrong and still achieve over 700.

what was the students questino one… had to read it like 40 times to realize they weren’t tryign to trick us but rather to clarify they want the totol number of students, non-overlap right? so it was 90? add the two numbers subtract 14 …? yes? >.>

I got 90 for the math and science students one.
60 science or math
44 the other
14 in both

So 60+30

[ quote ] and [ /quote ] - with no spaces. And I answered the question above - 3, generally. 4 or 5 would be pushing it.

So are we certain now that the triangle one was 40/3? I didn’t really follow the argument…

Get rid of the stars

What was the answer for the hexagonal prism problem, where you had to rotate it and some sides were shaded… and you had to pick which one wasn’t possible?

two white sides in a row (E)

i think i misread it and put 104. -2 now ■■■

what was the answer to the triangle with a line tangent to the circle with radius 4. i put 8.

yep, i got E as well

and 40/3 hasn’t been officially confirmed, but it sounds like the consensus overall i think

the answer was 4 radical 3 cs, if your tlaking about the problem i think you are

Didn’t it ask for which one WAS possible?

Draw it out on your paper.

White, Shade, White, Shade, Shade, Shade.

(You can only see three at a time, so make a scoop with your fingers to show only three.)

The one with two white sides in a row.

(Was it choice E, JANSAT09? I thought it was more up on the list?)

Nope. 4/5 of them were possible.

4 was a side, but it was a 30-60-90 triangle.

so the answer was 4 x square root of 3

It might not have been E, Mono. All I remember is two whites in a row lol.

4sqrt(3)

I believe that was a 30-60-90 triangle.

(E) Two white sides next to each other.

can some1 just like post a recap of the problems and answers that have been discussed a lot

yeah for that one just list out the side color vertically based on the the views and you know white white black was impossible.

white
black
white
black
black
black

yes? not sure if i remember it correctly.

crap. what do you think a -5 and a -4 is on the test.
