Math for March SAT 2009

Oh, okay.

… Actually. Now that I think of it. It might have been that. I remember hacking and slashing them. The ones with the shaded bases, those don’t matter?

If memory serves me correctly, the two white ones had a shaded base…

I had a thread… But it seemed to have disappeared.

For the Hexagonal prism thing i put E was not possible

Gahhhhhh…Found a few wrong already. ■■■ =((((((((((((

No, it was 4root3, but luckily for you I think we’ve established that that was experimental :)

No it wasn’t.

it was 4rad3 and no it wasn’t experimental because i had CR experimental and i had that questionn, sorrryyy =/

no i dont think so. i had an experimental reading.

The math experimental was the one with the pentagon, where you had to find the degrees. Question #20 was about a truck. I am sure that was experimental since I had 4 Math Sections and no one around me got the stupid truck. It was also the most challenging section.

No, it was 4root3, but luckily for you I think we’ve established that that was experimental

It was NOT experimental.
I had the question and had writing experimental.

Icecream and soda: $3.50

what was the 3d rectangle oen and you had to find the volume… it gave you liek the cross diagonal … so i wasn’t sure if that was the length… was it 120 or 144?

Yes that must have been experimental - i had writing experimental and didn’t have anything about a truck…

it was 144

and i think 3.50 is right maggie, though i have no recollection of what answr i put

:)

3 * 4 * 12.

not the triangle one was 8, i put 4sqaure roots of 3 but its 8 i figure it out, 1/6 of circumference = 60 degrees tan of 60 = op/4 so op = 4 sumthing pathagoreum thm makes the bc side 8 so answer was 8

new fish, i confirm 144 for that diagonal rect prism

It was 3.50 b/c soda cost 2 and ice cream cost 1.50.

why is it 144 the you solved for 3(4) and it gave you the diagonal as 12… how was that the length for (3)(4)(12)=144?? >.>

I wait sorry… I’m getting my sections confused :)

line tangent to the circle = 90 degrees
arc is 1/6 so the other angle is 60

therefore 30-60-90 triangle, 4 is opposite the 30 so opposite the 60 is 4rad3

cough about that 40/3 cough
