Nope. It was a real question.

The line was more than halfway. :x They were different lengths from the 7000 and 8000 line. The one on the 8 was higher.

Are you sure about that one? Maybe I misread the graph, but I got ~12%. So I chose 10% because 12 rounds down to 10.

I hope not, because that would be my only math error. I always miss the sill questions. There goes my 800 math… :(

Same here, isn
t it 10? Couldn
t be 15.

yea it is over 700 i think cuz when i took sat last time i miss 3 and got a 710 o.0 and blanks dont even hurt u so its higher

I got 10% as well… I don’t remember the top value being as high as 8600…

I double checked this… with two estimations, one was at 11 one was at just over 12…

I don’t think 15 as well.

it was more 8200-8300 ish

^ I got 10% on the noncitrus fruit ^

If it was 15% I must have estimated horribly…

I don’t think so - wasn’t the upper point just about the 8000 mark, not about the 8500 mark?

Well that one, I assumed ETS would use 8500 and 7500 … It would be rather messed up to tell us to look at a graph and get 8600 and 7300 …

citris is 10%

Blanks hurt. You can’t get a perfect with a blank! You just don’t get penalized for it.

I am like… 80% sure. I remember seeing the 8600 figure a little higher.

They should universally omit the question. The question, itself, was really easy. Just how THEY set it up, not so much. The lines were too small and the percents were too close to each other.

My only concern is… I got nearly exactly 15%. Where as, the answers are closer to 12, which can sway either way. (If there was a 1,000 difference, you get 12.5%) - I don’t know…

^ Has the College Board ever thrown out a question for being ridiculous? ^

Are you sure? I checked that one several times to make sure I had the numbers right.

I don’t think they’d ever do that :(, though it’d be amazing if they did.

Monoclide, I think you misread a line…

I went back and 2nd “entried” on my graphing calculator, and checked that I got 11%. Something tis wrong.

I agree they should throw out citrus question…very ambig…could some1 post a list of discussed Q and As and the answers that the community has determined?

PLLZZZ

I think they threw out a controversial writing question once.

Hm. I don’t know. I know there was A LOT of controversy over the weight of one question on the PSATs in October. Not exactly sure how they ended that…

Eh, I only went through it once, to be honest. I probably did misread a line or two.

for the phenomenon one why would it not be theory?

well im guessin u dont look at the thickness of the line mark but rather the middle to determine the number of the citrus? cuz its just plain weird
