MATH HL issues

<p>Hey - I am applying for CS in Gtech, Ut at T and such places(nowhere near MIT or Stanford)
and i got an 800 in Math Level 2 SAT, but managed only a 4 in my term 2 exams -_-</p>

<p>RATE ME</p>

<p>thats my lowest - ive gotten a 6 in phys hl, spanish ab and english sl while 7s in eco hl and chem sl.
What say?</p>

<p>My ECs are pretty good - Like ive taken part in ThinkQuest and was a finalist, and a robotics camp and written an android app, etc and much more stuff (like MUNs and Tree planting drives)</p>

<p>BUT IM SCARED BECAUSE OF THESE MARKS - </p>

<p>I have no aim for the Ivy’s cuz i cant pay :P</p>

<p>SO SO the second tier like GTECH, etc </p>

<p>do u think these marks matter?

<p>A few things:</p>

<p>1) You are highly capable of getting into a second tier. You have a lower HL, but you can raise the rest of your grades and it shouldn’t hurt you too much. You obviously have the brains.</p>

<p>2) Apply for Ivy anyway. They have the largest endowments, so most students who aren’t wealthy don’t actually have to take out a mountain of debt. </p>

<p>If accepted and no money comes your way, then go to GTECH. Money is important, but you probably qualify for all kinds of grants.</p>
