<p>By “worth it”, do you mean in terms of job and career prospects? Math majors have decent job and career prospects (though mainly in finance and computers; supplemental elective courses in those areas would help); chemistry majors’ job and career prospects are unlikely to be better (unless you don’t want to go anywhere near finance and computers).</p>
