Math Major?

Whats a good major for someone who is good at problem solving math things like the things you get in math team, like AIME stuff.

Of course…Math…Applied math…statistics…
and
physics, chemistry, astronomy, computer science, economy, business, engineering, and so forth.

But, will I be able to use the prblem solving knowledge in these majors. I’m talking about problems that are easy to do but difficult to figure out how to do.

also philosophy with emphasis on logic

Of course. At least, other than these majors, the problem solving knowledge is almost useless.
In math major, it will help a lot if you know those solving skills. And you will use them to prove or solve other problems.
In physics major, finding out those natural phenomena sometimes need those problem solving skills. And person who knows those skills do a lot better in this major than those who don’t.
And in other majors that I mentioned, they are somehow used in algorithms, researches, etc.

Could anyone suggest some colleges that have good math and computer science major programs?
