I’m a sophomore in LSA applying to the business minor. I placed into calculus (math 115) but I am planning on taking pre-calculus instead because I heard calculus at umich is really hard.
How is pre-calculus (Math 105) in comparison? any advice?
If you are placed into Calc 1, you should be fine. Calc 1 & 2 are not that difficult but Calc 3 is.
Do whatever you feel comfortable with, but math 115 will probably look better and be more useful. If I recall, I heard math 105 is no cake walk.
