Math Placement Test Score

What is a good score on the math placement test? I mean “good” as not having to taking remedial math

Just do as well as you can and you won’t have to worry about taking remedial math. No need to cheat the system. (In fact, my friends who decided they were going to do so ended up doing poorly in their remedial classes.)

Additionally, remedial classes generally don’t help you towards your graduation requirements.

I don’t think there really is a “good” score. If you try to get a “top” score you may be placed into a class too advanced for you. Just do your best so they can decided what class is best for you. And if I am not mistaken, you have a chance to retake the placement test during orientation week if you are not satisfied with your score.
