Math placement

I know I am only a junior, but I was wondering what would be good to take (assuming I do well enough on the placement test) after my high school math.

Right now I am taking MV Calc and Linear Algebra concurrently, and in the spring I am taking Differential Equations. Next year I’m taking real and complex analysis…so what should I consider for my freshman year of college?

It really depends on where you go to college.

Depends where you go. If you end up going to a really mathy-type school you might want to retake some of the courses you took in high school (just so you won’t be at a disadvantage compared to the other kids who take more rigorous versions of your courses in college).

What are you planning as your major? If you are looking at anything other than math, you might not have to take anything at all (placement test or no placement test) - I am assuming you are getting college credit for these courses.

well actually they’re all Johns Hopkins Distance Ed/EPGY but I’m a Biochemistry person aiming for MIT, so I know I will need to take plenty of math regardless lol

You may want to look up MIT’s Bulletin to find out math requirement for your major. My understanding is that they require very little, if any, beyond what you already took.
