Math pretest

I am in the school of engineering. Are we required to take the math pretest? I am just wondering if a Calc BC AP test score would suffice. Thanks

If you didn’t get a 5 then you have to take it if you want to exempt. I took the AB equivlent test about 5 minutes ago because I am still waiting for my AP results. From what I read, if you take it because you haven’t received your scores yet and do better on the AP they will throw out the placement test score.
Here’s the link to their policy.

Ok, I obviously have not gotten my AP scores yet either, but I am pretty confident I got a five on the BC test (math is my best subject). Are you saying I wouldn’t have to take it then? Thanks again.

Well, technically if you don’t have the score your suppose to take it, but if you decided to wait it out then I guess you could avoid it. I think I got a five, but took it just in case I didn’t and passed the test anyway (You get your results as soon as you click the done button).

Sorry, I missed that link in your first post. Ok, that explains things pretty well. I am gonna try to wait it out :-)
