Math Question

Can someone please help me finding the answer for this question?

I couldn’t find an explanation online.

I believe the answer would be C. If the steps are right triangles and two of the same sides are equal, it means that the steps are 45-45-90 degree right triangles. That means the side facing T would be s sqrt2 according to the 45-45-90 triangle theorem. There are 7 steps with sides facing T so you would multiply s sqrt2 by 7 and that would be C

This is an example of a “hard” question that is really easy. The formula for a 45, 45, 90 right triangle is given to you, and looks exactly like the picture given. To be precise, there are 7 copies of that picture in this problem.
