My kid got a “Math Transition 3” placement in Exeter. Does anybody know what are they going to learn in this class?
Thank you in advance.

Everything
just kidding (but not really)
T3X covers math 2 (algebra, geometry, trig) the first term, math 3 (algebra, geometry, trig, probability stuff) the second term, and then the first two terms of math 4 (weird calc stuff, more normal calc stuff) the last term. All of this might vary depending on how smart the class is (it’s different every year).

howbout transition1? thats what i got placed in… =/ just kidding i dont careall that much about math, but do you know what is covered?

probably basic algebra… I never did math 1 so I’m not sure. BTW you can access all of the math books on the exeter website. [Phillips Exeter Academy | Teaching Materials](http://www.exeter.edu/academics/84_9408.aspx)

but don’t freak out if you can’t solve more than half the problems…
