Math!

For how long should I practice to take my Maths score from 550-630 to 680-700? Is doing it hard? Any tips? And is it good to score 630 on my VERY FIRST practice Math test? I’ve only started to practice a week ago, and I, apparently, have some questions so don’t hesitate to answer me! :D

It really depends on how long it takes to improve a math score, depending on lots of factors.

Also, a 630 on a math practice test can be either good or bad. It is good considering that it’s above the national average of ~500. But a 630 could also be a bad score if you already have the knowledge of formulas, techniques, etc. to score 800. So I can’t really say whether a 630 is good or bad.

Take some practice tests, review which questions you missed. My advice is to try questions from past MATHCOUNTS, AMC8, and AMC10 exams, those seem to be good preparation.

I think u need from 4 to 6 months.

u must first know your main problem and then try to solve it.

If u can answer the questions correctly but you can’t finish on time so just practice.

If there is a questions you don’t know how to solve, try to know how or ask the help of someone.

The topic are limited so you can review them from the official SAT book.
