Math?

So I got deferred and the reason I think I got deferred was because I only took 3 years of math…I mean, I replaced it with another AP…o well…

Did anyone with a pretty good app get in with only 3 years of math?

I am apply RD, but I’ve been told numerous times that rejections/deferrals are not based on one factor. Though only taking 3 years of math may have hurt you, there must have been another reason. Plus, what can you do about it now?

Did you only take 3 years because you didn’t like math or because you had exhausted the curriculum?

Because I am horrible in math…
I replaced it with another AP and that brought my GPA up a lot because I’m doing so well in it.

It was probably a contributing factor, but I doubt you were deferred for that reason alone. Good luck RD.

If you go to the U of C, you’re going to have to take math, I hope you realize.

I agree with the above posters. It could have been a factor in their decision, but admissions decisions aren’t based on a single factor (unless it’s something particularly extreme).
