<p>What is the difference between these two majors? On the UC application, UCSD has these two different majors. They are labeled as joint majors as well</p>
<p>Looks like the requirements for the major are the exact same.</p>

<p>I doubt it matters for UCSD, since none of the departments are impacted. For UCLA, it would matter since the econ is impacted while the math is not.</p>
