Mathematical IQ test with some good practice problems for the SAT or even AMC / AIME

[IQ Tests | Mathematical Tests | Mathematical and Logical IQ Test](http://www.alliqtests.com/tests/4/12/)

here you go…lemme know how you guys do…it’s pretty challenging and takes some time…if you’re gonna do it…please attempt to do the whole thing…

i had another thread similar to this up before but this test here is much better than the test in the other thread…

i’ll start…i got 20 of them correct…

“Seven hours ago it was five hours before the time when there would be 2/3 of the day still remaining. What time is it now? The day starts at 12:00 A.M.”

This question blatantly wrong. The answer should be 6 PM.

Not to mention it’s untimed… so pretty much anyone can get 120+. 0 right gives you an average IQ? Pfft. Online IQ tests are so deeply flawed and ignorant.

that’s not wrong…

assume time right now to be T…

seven hours ago —> T - 7
was 5 hours before —> T - 7 + 5 = T - 2
2/3 of the day remaining means 1/3 elapsed…24 / 3 = 8 AM
so T - 2 = 8
T = 10 (10 AM)

There’s nothing wrong with that question.

I got all 21…

This is nothing like the AIME.

i disagree…i think a lot of them could be like even harder than a number 1 or 2 or even a 3 on the AIME…

I usually get 7-9/15 on the AIME. Yet I got 21/21 on this test. These questions resemble easy AMC12 questions (10-20).

Ahhh, sorry guys.

yeah i’d say i average like a 5 on the AIME…i got 20 out of 21…i didn’t really do like 20th problem (the one with the remainder)…i put down “1” as the answer bc that’s also correct if you think about it haha…i was too tired to try it…

i think i’m gonna do it out now haha…

oh wow i just did it out…nvm i figured that out…

i was making a really stupid mistake yesterday…i had 364 - 313 to be 61 instead of 51…
449 - 364 = 85…so i had 61 and 85 and couldn’t find any common factors…

i did it out today and saw 51 and 85 and it clicked automatically that it’s 17 that’s a common factor…then i did 221 / 17 = 13…so i figured out the answer to be 17

so i guess you could give me a 21/21 now too hahaha…
