In general, what jobs can you get directly out of college with a Mathematics/Applied Science B.S.? If you don’t major in accounting (since UCLA has no accounting major,) is it difficult to be an accountant without being a CPA? And lastly, is the Mathematics/Applied Science with emphasis on Management/Accounting program still there?

There is an Accounting minor: [Accounting Minor Program | UCLA Anderson School of Management](http://www.anderson.ucla.edu/x25205.xml). Math/Applied Math must follow one of four study plans: Individual Plan; Actuarial Plan; Medical and Life Sciences Plan; or History of Science Plan. For more information, see [UCLA Department of Mathematics](<a href=“Undergraduate Program | UCLA Department of Mathematics”>Undergraduate Program | UCLA Department of Mathematics).
