I am going off to Vermont tech in the fall,
I was wondering, if any of you have kids that have used a twin sized mattress topper on a twin extra long bed? I have a really nice twin sized memory foam topper and I don’t want to have to buy a new one, I know it will be short but Im more concerned about width. Any help is greatly appreciated!
The twin mattress topper works fine width wise on a twin Xl bed. My daughter uses that combo and its not been a problem at all since its just the very end of the bed where the gap occurs.
Thats what I thought. Does your daughter use regular twin sized bedding then?
My son used twin xtra-long bedding so it fit properly.
The XL twin bedding only really matters for the fitted sheet. A flat sheet or topper will just be a little shorter. XL Twins are 6 inches longer than traditional twin mattresses.
