The Facts: I’m an aspiring comedy writer out of MA. My GPA is about a 3.7 weighted 3.5 unwieghted, SATs were poor: 1660, I know that’s rly bad, but I’ll be able to study all summer and take them again…I’m rly bright I just cannot succeed at standardized tests for some reason… I have plenty of community service, NHS, KEY club, Young Democrats, Conservation Club, Ski Club, 4 Years on varsity Tennis & Golf, Class Secretary of this next senior year…excellent sandwich maker…

I have taken/ will be taking 6 AP classes in all: US History, Lang & Comp, Government, Econ, Spanish, Literature…

Anyway, I just rly have big dreams, and I rly wanna know if they’re worth chasing. I probably left a lot out but… Thank You All

You have to get your SATs up, or you won’t get into your top choices. So study as much as possible for those, since they’ll be a large determinant of where you end up. With present SAT scores, Northwestern ED is a reach, NYU is a low reach, and Chicago EA is a high reach. In fact, U of I might even be difficult to get into with those scores.

Okay okay, I know, I’m planning on getting at least a 2100…I’m very determined…do you know much about Northwestern? Do the six different schools have different acceptance rates?
