Max amount of Credits per semester, per graduation question

Hey, I saw that for p.e. credits they have all kinds of interesting classes and when I went up there there was a student who was taking a rifle class and such. I was just wondering what the max limit of the courses you can take per semester was and if these classes such as the sport classes are no work outside of the class, with no homework could you apply to go over that limit by taking 2 of these for example has anyone heard of anyone doing that? and if you have enough credits to graduate than can you stay and take a year of classes such as these just for your particular interest? thank you

You can technically take as many classes as you want as long as you get approval.

does anyone know how much work those p.e. type classes or rifle classes are just such like that, any outside work after class on those.?

the PE classes are generally once a week. The actual length of them depends on what class. Things like bowling might be a couple hours at the most.

I took pistol marksmanship, trap shooting, and will be taking rifle senior year. These classes, along with things like sailing, are 4 hours per week.

anyoutside works or how are they graded if they are?

they are pass/fail. most let you have 2 absences

hm, sounds good, so it seasm pretty doable to take the regular say 15 hours and take maybe 2 of those just as regular activities with isntruction basically on top of those classes?

I’ve taken 4 PE classes in the past just for fun, not for credit. If it’s not for credit, you can skip like 5 total in the semester to not be charged the $20 fee.

o hyea i noteced there is a fee charged, its only 20 bucks per class?

Depends on the class. Some are more expensive than others.

the fee was in reference to having skipped so many classes. They do this so you actually go to class otherwise somebody who needs it for credit should have been given your spot.

Many have small fees, ice hockey is $80 - it comes out to about $1 an hour, an excellent value as renting ice is usually $300 per hour for a team.
