How do you all maximize how much you get out of your SAT/ACT study sessions? Distractions aren’t a problem for me, but I feel like I’m reviewing the easy stuff too much. When I study what I got wrong, I feel like a fool for obvious errors, but I can’t seem to develop better habits out of it. Any advice, especially from veteran 2400ers?

same here, like for writing i am sure i got a 800, but when i check my answers i get like 3-4 wrong on dumb things like subject and ver, or idioms and diction which i cant help since i am not a native speaker. advice?

@numbers - Can’t you see any patterns of mistakes?

@Dream - if you can’t help it, then you can’t help it. But there are books that have lists of idioms, which might be helpful for you.

Go back and review all your recent tests and make a list for the different types of question you are missing and mistakes you are missing. See where your weaknesses are and target those areas. When reviewing your tests, try not to focus on the content/material of the question, but try to remember what you were thinking when you answered the question. You need to locate your shortcomings in your logical reasoning rather than the specifics of the question.
