Maximum units allowed to register without petition

Hello, I’m a transfer student. I have two questions to ask you guys.

How many units that are the maximum allowed to register without filing petition? (for regular quarters)

Davis tuition fee is flat rate, right? I mean, whether I register 12 units or 18 units, I’ll pay the fixed rate.

Thanks

Pass 1 (when everyone first registers): 17 units
Pass 2 (when wait-listing becomes an option): 19 units
Schedule Adjustment (when quarter starts): 28.5 units

you mean 17+19 = total 36? units per quarter?

and one more thing, when we register summer sessions; will we have health insurance coz i see the bill and it has nothing mentioned about health insurance fees.

No, that’s how many units you can have under your belt at that time, so the absolute maximum is 28.5 per quarter.

I’m not sure how it works as I’m under my parents’ health insurance.

i see, thanks a lot.
